AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Qmerit, North America’s leading installation and integration services provider for EV charging and other energy transition technologies, is announcing a partnership with Wisetack, the market’s leading embedded finance platform for home services like plumbing and electrical work.
The Qmerit-Wisetack partnership will give EV buyers a new dimension of flexibility in paying for Level 2 home charger installations. Instead of billing installation as a single payment, customers can choose monthly payment plans that feature an array of terms and interest rates, including 0% for qualifying buyers. The options also come with no hidden fees.
“Qmerit and Wisetack are joining forces to make home charging more attainable for new EV buyers,” said Qmerit Chief Operating Officer Oliver Phillips. “EVs traditionally have been sought by car enthusiasts and the more affluent demographic – but to take them to the next level, we need to become more relevant to people focused on value and convenience.”
Wisetack CEO Bobby Tzekin said the partnership combines two cultures with a common zeal for excellence in customer experiences, noting that both companies boast Net Promoter Scores well above industry averages. Wisetack’s success has also been recognized by the Inc. 5000 and Deloitte Fast 500 programs.
“This partnership is all about two organizations with a proven ability to excel at the art and science of customer engagement,” said Tzekin. “We look forward to combining our strengths in bridging the gap to that next generation of EV buyers.”
Wisetack’s tool will integrate into Qmerit’s AI-driven service for streamlining the acquisition and installation of Level 2 home charging. Customers will have fingertip access to Wisetack’s pay-over-time financing options for installation costs. Qmerit and Wisetack also have plans to incorporate the purchase of charging hardware into this function. The process will be available on Qmerit’s Charge@Home portal.
“This is one more way to promote the growth of home charging across America,” said Phillips. “Home charging is the key to making EVs practical and sustainable – to increasing their satisfaction levels and translating that into new and repeat buyers.”
