Japan (J-Startup) Pavilion E-Directory
This year, the Japan Pavilion is designed around the theme “Organized Chaos.” To accommodate all 31 exhibiting startups, JETRO will divide the pavilion into 2 main areas separated by a passageway, creating a large yet well-organized and integrated space for visitors to explore. At the center of the Japan Pavilion, JETRO will set up both the event stage and the returning “Moonshot Café” – a café and lounge area for exhibitors and visitors to comfortably meet and mingle. With its playful and charming design, the Japan Pavilion at CES aims to bring in a variety of visitors and encourage them to browse the latest innovations from Japan, and engage with both exhibitors and other visitors in a relaxed environment.
During CES, JETRO plans to host several pitch events for exhibiting startups at the event stage located in the Japan Pavilion. “Japanese Startup Intro” is a promotional pitch series that will be held three days in a row, each day featuring 7 to 9 Japanese startups. This is an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their products to visitors and interested parties.
In contrast, for the “Global Pitch Battle” series, JETRO will be inviting startups from other foreign countries to participate in theme/industry-focused pitch battles. The theme of the first Global Pitch Battle is HealthTech, and will feature CES Innovation Awards® “Accessibility & AgeTech” Best of Innovation honoree BionicM. The theme of the second Global Pitch Battle is Robotics, and will feature Innovation Award honorees FingerVision and Kailas Robotics. This will be an exciting opportunity for attendees to discover award-winning revolutionary innovations from around the world.
In addition, JETRO will also be hosting art performances and other unique activities at the pavilion to further highlight the creativity and culture of Japan and provide an enriching experience for CES attendees.
